Trying to make this the best campaign we can! One day left, folks. Make us proud! 😀
I just wanted to apologize, officially, for the error I made in trying to split our funding between two different platforms. Honestly, I wasn’t sure which way to go in the first place, and having been familiar with Kickstarter from our Moonhawk Studios Presents podcast campaign, I started there. But then I looked up the features of Indiegogo, and I realized that it was better suited to the kind of project we wanted to run. It was not a malicious act, nor a flagrant “cash grab” on my part. It was plain and simple blundering ignorance. So I hope you will still consider, or perhaps reconsider joining our campaign to make this audiobook in spite of my flagrant party foul. Thanks for your time and attention.
This desperately needs to happen, folks. In order to bear fruit, we must outsource the entire funding of this book, lest I go to debtor’s prison or something equally arcane and horrible! We’ve hired some amazing talent, now we need to pay them! Plus, there’s new music, art, packaging… so much to do, and so little time…
GO GO, to INDIEGOGO!
I’m going to try and go back to blogging on this site at least once a week to let everyone know how things are proceeding, and let me tell you, things are moving along quickly. First of all, audio recording for the Kickstarter/Indiegogo video is done, and I am waiting for the video before we can let this thing fly. I would be pleased as punch if we can get it going live in time for Wednesday’s broadcast of Up Late with Mace, but you can’t rush greatness, so we shall play it by ear. Each of the major characters are currently cast, music is being made, so it’s all a matter of time now. Anyway, I’ll be sure to talk more about it once it goes live, but for now, I’ll keep this short.
